Samantha “Sam I Am” Imker graces the airwaves of North Alabama as part of the morning “The Mojo Radio Show” at 104.3 ZYP and then hosting her own midday show on Nash Icon 93.3. She has come along way in the radio business after starting as just a ZYP listener over a decade ago. Sam shares a never-before-told story of winning a prize on the radio growing up in Michigan, receiving the prestigious John Philip Sousa Award as the top performer in her HS band, helping her father cope and then adjust to life without sight, meeting her wonderful husband and starting their family, and competing as a professional pool player. Additionally, Sam I Am shares her success story through a ZYP promotion with the Huntsville Weigh Loss Centers and then we finish the episode in playing the Quick 6 and Name That Tune, which spawned some impromptu Karaoke and, yes, she can sing!!
