He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a minor in Aviation Safety and Master of Science in Management with distinction from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, he actively maintains his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) technician status with Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges.James is deeply involved in the aviation industry and contributes as a volunteer. He currently serves as the Chair of the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Workforce Development Working Group and represents the state of Alabama as an FAA Safety Team Representative.
