John Allen is the CEO of the Huntsville Committee of 100. The Committee of 100 is a group of 300 business professionals and CEO’s. The mission of the Committee of 100 is to engage in local efforts that support high quality public education, develop long range strategies that impact economic vitality, and encourage cooperative local government. The Committee of 100 consistently engages in the issues that will bring success to the entire community.
John is a Huntsville native and graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He spent most of this career running a residential construction company before joining the Committee of 100 as the CEO in 2017. John is an avid Cross-Fitter and has been competing the the Chattajcack endurance Kayak event for the past few years. He also has climbed at Mt. Rainier and Everest and part of a new passion he is pursuing.
