Dr. John F. Kvach serves as the Executive Director of Singing River Trail, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing a seventy-mile greenway/trail to North Alabama. Previously, Dr. Kvach spent ten years as Associate Professor of Southern History at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the last two years as Vice President of Liberty Learning Foundation. He has authored two books, multiple articles and blogs on history, southern culture, and American society. Dr. Kvach serves on numerous local and statewide boards that help us understand who we are, our culture, and why it matters.
