Chad serves as the President & CEO for Downtown Huntsville, Inc. He previously served as Director of City Development for Montgomery, Alabama as well as a consultant to over 30 different cities on downtown and urban redevelopment strategies. He received his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. He and his five children live in Huntsville.
M. Troy Bye is the founder and host of the Our Town Podcast. He and his family recently re-located to the Huntsville area from Virginia and they have almost fell in love with everything that Huntsville has to offer. Troy named the podcast “Our Town” to demonstrate the excitement and commitment that he now has to his new hometown. Troy started a media production company in 2012 called the WL Media Group in which he grew one of the company’s’ brands, the WL SportsNet, into a very prosperous business. Troy was an early adopter to livestream production and to what are now widely referred to as podcasts. The Our Town Podcast is a full video and audio production that is built to scale to any live format. Troy and his wife have 4 children, two in college and two in high School, and reside in Madison.”
